Our story
A beloved gathering place, carried forward by neighbors
Founded in 2018 by Laurie Schive and Mike Morgan, Blue Loon Bakery is now owned and operated by New London residents Tricia and Troy Glick. They’re honored to carry the tradition forward: traditional artisan-style breads, pastries and sandwiches made with simple, locally sourced ingredients.

A little loon told us…
Great place for breakfast or lunch. It feels more like a house or living room than a coffee shop. Food and coffee were good, and it was kid friendly.
Stopped on a whim, and so glad I did! Amazing coffee and baked goods. Wasn’t even hungry but couldn’t pass up the apple cinnamon scone. Totally recommend. Not a lot of parking but trust me the short walk is totally worth it.
Cute little shop. Nice places to sit indoors and also great outdoor shaded seating. Food was amazing. … Croissants were perfectly flakey and the chocolate was to die for.
Baked goods were amazing. My husband enjoyed berry muffin and sausage roll that were freshly baked. … We shared slice of pumpkin bread that was moist and just right amount of sweetness.
